Our guest speaker will be Dr. Cynthia Howard, RN, CNC, PhD. Dr. Howard has 18 years in Wellness success, specializing in Nutritional Therapy. She has been working with children on the Autistic spectrum for the last 10 years. She also is a NAET practitioner which is used to desensitize against food sensitivities. She will be speaking on supplements our kids need to reach their full potential.

March 21 - The Arc of the Central Chesapeake Region's Bowl-a-thon. See flyer here

April 15 - Our regular monthly meeting at St. Martin in the Field Church. From 7 - 9 pm.

Jillian Walker, a college grad student, is coming to our meeting and wants to interview as many Fathers of Autistic children as she can. Fathers are ESPECIALLY encouraged to attend our meeting so that she can complete her research study. Melanie Wood from Synap2it Learning Center is our guest speaker this month. She will be discussing Synap2it's Ten year Anniversary, it's successes and her own children's issues.

September 16 - Our regular monthly meeting at St. Martin in the Field Church. From 7 - 9 pm.

October 1 - 10 - Art Now for Autism.

Kate Egolf is a clinical social worker serving children & families impacted by ASD. She and her colleague currently attend and contribute at a support group in Mayo for parents with children on the Autistic Spectrum. During our meeting she'll be discussing a mini lecture series they are planning for this winter. She will also be distributing a short survey to determine interest levels in potential subjects of future presentations.

Also, Maureen Hutchens will explain her graduate degree research project and will be handing out questionaires to families interested in participating.
